You might also look at the Zeiss Terrain ED in 8x42. They are excellent in this price range, and were recently cosmetically restyled. You can get the discontinued ones at a good buy. -

Bowtech Frustrations
FYI re: Elite bows, their warranty is no longer transferable for bows sold after January 1, 2017. I own a 10+ year old BowTech Pro 38, and have never had a problem with it. Like you, I am in the market for a new bow. I will consider BowTech, Hoyt, and Matthews. For me, I am not concerned about... -
