257 weatherby factory ammo
Have you checked your barrel for copper fouling ? I shoot barnes in my 257 and when accuracy fell off a bit a good copper scrubbing did the trick.- Kenscot270

New Hunting Rifle advice
Lots of good advice here either way you go. I own rifles in most in most of the cartridges metioned and all have their merits I also have a 300 WM in a tikka t3 lite It was a bear on the bench. The redisgned tikka pad did nothing for it I called up Simms and they were in the process coming...- Kenscot270

Tikka T3x lite: new recoil pad
I bought a t3 lite in 300 win two yrs ago the new pad did little to tame the recoil replaced with the new limbsaver air tech World if difference. Hands down the way to go in my book- Kenscot270

Any Weatherby fans here?
I got a real good deal on a MarkV lite in 257. Absolutely love it. I did replace the trigger with a timney as I could never get it below 3.5# drives tacks with Barnes ttsx 100 gr bullets at 3500 FPS Dropped several deer with it Weatherby brass is pricy but really durable I will try...- Kenscot270
