I want them for classing or sitting on a ridge all day. I'm thinking for later in the year where it's more likely to snow than rain. I don't have any hunts planned to coastal state anytime soon it'd be for MT/WY/CO areas.

I've been upgrading my gear and was wondering what everyone's preferred or most effective puffy/insulation layer is for backpack hunts. I'm more curious about puffy bottoms as I have a decent top layering system already.

Its definitely a lot of back and forth between the farmers/dept. of ag. and the DNR. I got to witness first hand both sides of the issue. It was very interesting.
