Thanks for the advice. Being from Iowa, one tends to over think things like that. I'm hoping things will progress and I'll get a trip out there next spring. NW Montana spring bear hunt questions.
So I'm starting to do some planning for a bear hunt next spring in NW Montana. I haven't worked out the where yet but I've got some questions about camping. Do most folks hoof in from the truck each morning or do folks hike in with tents? Is the grizzly pop. density real high out there?- Hopingforanelk

Wyoming antelope unit 32
Been pouring through units with better draw options for zero points. Looks like 23 may be a bit easier to draw. Looks to be a good amount of blm ground in the NW corner west of Gillette. Might be worth checking into...anyone have any thoughts?- Hopingforanelk

I think I read that wrong..."valid off national forest land"...looks like a good amount of BLM/State land on the south end of the unit. How about the same questions but not forest land. And yes...I'm from Iowa.- Hopingforanelk

Brand new to the site so bear with me. I was researching the units in wyoming with leftover cow tags and was wondering if anyone could help.
