Public land access
So my Montana general deer tag is good to nov 27. I've been eyeing some BLM and state ground that has a two lane highway splitting it. Simple question... can I just pull off the blacktop or any other road that splits public ground, park and get out and hunt? Or do I need to find designated...- gingersnap

Flatlander heading to MT

Hello all, from PA to Helena, MT
Congrats on the move! You have taken the step i have been debating for a little while.. hopping from SW Indiana to Montana. But I'm currently tied down to a house remodel. Hope it all works out, I am heading to MT to hunt this fall after spending the last two years hunting CO.- gingersnap
