Hunting near a bedding area? Ground Blind or Saddle?
I'm getting in close to a buck's bedding area this afternoon. I'll be in a ground blind about 100 yds or so from where he's been bedding. Much prefer it to climbing a tree that close. 2022 Colorado Cow Moose
I can relate. I put on for a CO cow moose, did not draw, and put in for WY antelope. I drew the antelope tag, and a week later CPW offered me the moose tag that someone turned back in. So I'm headed to CO then WY in a few weeks. Good luck on your tag!- FranklinME

Set up to fail from the start

Shiras cow weight
I have a cow tag in North Park, Co units 7/8. Everything I see references the same 500-1200lbs for a Shiras cow, I think it come's from the YNP website, but it seems everything you google is a cut and paste from there.. Where in that range does a normal adult cow average? How about a 1.5 yo...- FranklinME
