I shot around 9k rounds of M118LR and MK316 Mod 0 in the last year. As well as a substantial amount of 260 and 6.5Creed from similar platforms. They shoot they exact same bullets a couple of hundred FPS different. What bullet "failed" you in the 308? So what range is a 308win not good for?- Formidilosus

Just as in NZ, if suppressors weren't regulated, or became less so, they would be on nearly every gun in use. Just like a lot of subjects- faster barrel twists, good bullets, 6.5Creed, scope that work, etc, etc.... those that shoot the least can't savvy the appeal. Those that shoot the most...- Formidilosus

Matt, That rifle could do very well in the PRS, yet your barrel twists are HORRIBLE on the 223 and 243win. A 1-7" or 1-8" twisted 223 will shoot every bullet from 40-80gr without issue, and will do it with great accuracy. The 1-10" twist of the 243 is mind boggling- why would you advertise...- Formidilosus

It depends on what the gun is. If you get a good one, the Kimber Montana/Adirondack/Ascent is pretty hard to beat. The stock is as good as anything out there and better than all but a NULA, trigger is good, action is sized correctly, etc. Other than that- Tikkas. Great barrels already...- Formidilosus

hooper, It's not that the Savage can't be accurate or function correctly. It's that no matter what you do it will still be a Savage- rough action, an ok trigger, decent feeding, etc. Again, I'm sure that there is someone really pleased with their built Savage, but I've don't it, seen others...- Formidilosus

Why did you choose to put slow twists for 223 and 243 on (all of your guns) a gun designed for long range? At a minimum ALL of your .223R and 22-250's should be 1-8" (1-7/7.5" would be better), and 6mm's should be 1-8" minimum (again 1-7/7.5 would be ideal).
