As a Montana native, long time Oregon resident and someone who has hunted mule deer in many other Western States, yes.....there is a reason. Mule deer are doing very poorly in Oregon. EOY - What Equipment Worked, What Didn't?
Kifaru gunbearer was just ok for me. Nice to not deal with the sling, but after many days afield, still couldn't get used to how it sits and having it in my sight.
