I agree it is very rewarding as I’ve actually built a handful of rifles myself. But I think our definition of ‘built’ is different. The OP wasn’t looking for gunsmith to just install as stock for him. He’s looking to buy and action, stock, barrel blank, and all the other components to go with it...

I just find it interesting that you’re talking down to people about not learning a skill when you didn’t even learn the skill that you’re talking about.
I’m sure you could make one if you put your mind to it and I’m sure it took some effort to modify that stock.
The point of my post was bring attention to the generational laziness that you mentioned. There are guys on this forum and others in their 20’s and 30’s doing some pretty amazing...
So you’re shooting multiple two shot groups of the same load and then comparing those results to multiple two shot groups from another load?

I've been really impressed with the Meoptas that I've looked through and can be found for under 1k used. The one pair of mavens I looked through seemed to have a blue tint if I remember right and preferred the Meoptas
You’re spot on. Working some OT in my professional career would be far more lucrative but I’m trying to find a way to be less reliant on working for the man. And it was a good excuse to buy some tools and equipment for the garage lol
That's actually how I came across the idea. I was with some locals in AZ and they did the same. I was so blown away by it that I wanted to be able to do it anywhere.
