I have a lightly used (under 200 rounds fired) Staccato C2 Duo. This will come with the Tactical height front sight installed and Dawson RMR plate. The RMR is NOT included.
The gun will also come with the "Carry" optic plate and the "Carry" height front sight if you choose to run the smaller...
Depends on who you're flying. I fly from Philadelphia via SW. Two free checked bags and last year I had two coolers and the attendant at the counter in Denver didn't even charge me the standard $75 overweight fee. Even slapped on the overweight stickers. Of course, my buddy drives in from IL so...
Thanks for all the feedback...it's definitely appreciated. I think I'm going to stick with the tripod and just deal with the extra weight. This is a general tag archery hunt in WY. We've had a good couple of hunts the past few years and it would be nice to document them a bit more so in 10 or 20...
Looking for feedback on what to use this year during this year's elk hunt. I've been lucky enough to go 2 for 2 the last couple years, so this year I plan on getting some footage since I'll be shooter number 4. Anyway, I just bought a nice used Sony RX10iii and have a BogPod tripod with the...
My father has max sheep points in CO as a non-resident and has been applying since the late 90's if I'm not mistaken. No dice. Went to HI last month and killed a mouflon. Or as someone else said, pay for a west TX self guided aoudad hunt. They're cheaper than a CO NR bighorn tag.
I agree with this assessment. Personally, I prefer a heavier setup for a few reasons. Foremost is I want to give myself every advantage possible should I make an errant shot. Things happen and I'm not immune to tense situations. I normally go above 500. Last year's arrow was right around 520...
Let me first give a little background. My father, good friend and I drew a general elk tag and just returned from the Medicine Bow. I was fortunate enough to kill a spike and my buddy had some great encounters with some nice bulls in the thick stuff. We were hunting right around 9k and up and...
I'm generally happy with WY's allocation of tags and draw system as a NR. For a flatlander that lives on the east coast, hunting out west is expensive any way you cut it. Travel, gear, shipping, tags...it adds up quite quickly.
Randy explains the NR draw pretty well here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVIhSwSuDpA
In this year's random regular draw for the general tag (1st choice), a NR had roughly a 14% chance to draw. Not great odds, but not terribly bad either. Last year, my buddy and I drew a limited quota tag in...
I didn't see you mention regular or special draw so figured I'd throw this out there. 1pt in the regular won't get you a general. You'll need to apply in the special to guarantee yourself a tag. And if I'm not mistaken, WY increased the NR elk special tag fee to $1,300.
