Yes, he was missing his insides. I felt it was a pretty big deal to have them side by side for the picture before I started cutting them up. It took a lot of effort to get the one drug back over, but I'm sure glad I did! -

What phutch30 said. If you are able, I would plan my hunts around the snow storms. The elk will come through. Its just a matter of being there when they do. -

Even a blind hog...
Finds a bull once in awhile! This has been a wonderful season with both ups and downs. This past week was definitely one of the ups! As always I've got to give credit to Lawnboy and his dad. I can always count on them to help me pull one out of the hills (no matter how steep it is!) -
