    I am in the planning stages of Alaskan do it yourself mainly moose hunt. Any helpful tips would be appreciated especially if you have done this type of hunt. Thinking of maybe renting a skif and running the river banks type of hunt. Thanks for any advice.

    Planning a antelope trip to Wyoming . According to what I have found 62 looks like a little better trophy quality but I have access to a large ranch in 48 with virtually no hunting pressure. Trying to weigh my options. This would be my first antelope hunt .

    74 has heavy timber and cover. Hard to do a lot of flashing, but there r some elk to be had the trick is just finding them!

    Thanks for the replys . I think I understand it now. If I want to use the elk part of the tag prob have to use in some other general unit besides region 7 ? Unless im ultra lucky...

    Is it possible to draw a elk / deer combo tag in region 7 first year? Never been to Montana hunting before. Any pointers ? Would be fine with just mule deer too but why not hunt both if u can.
