    I think that it depends on where you are going to be hunting, if I had a choice and most my hunting was going to be in he mountains in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, etc. I would prefer to get a tarp or a tipi depending if you like to hunt above treeline or in the timber some.

    There won't be that many come September. It's cold enough at night that they'll be dead or sleeping haha. I wouldn't take bug spray. And yeah Thermacells don't work that great at elevation, I can usually get mine to work at about 10k but it shuts off sometimes and takes a while to keep going.

    I really wish that Easton didn't stop making trekking poles, those things were nice, right now I have 1 black diamond and 1 easton that I use, have always thought about getting a matching set but I just make due with what I got.
