Huge shout out to Vortex Optics
No where in my original post did I say vortex was the best luepold or anyone else was inferior...I own several vortex products and never have had a problem yet but to those who turned the story of my dog eating binos as a reason to bash vortex cause u have never used your warranty get real...- chuck0724

U can get the Glendel full rut for 159 from midway every couple of months the run the factory blemishes I got one last yr and its a great target and one of the only ones the size of a real deer that doesn't cost a fortune only thing wrong on mine i could find was the belly has a color run -

January deer behavior
Hey all, Have a January archery hunt in 2c NM i have quite a but of knowledge of the unit and my wife hunted it last yr Nov rifle hunt..I have never hunted this late mostly a canyon desert unit so most of the snow doesn't come till late Nov early december..For those of u with January experience... -

Hinge/Back tension
I hunt with my Carter Honey 2..it has a thumb safety. With two settings one u hold the safety down with thumb until u execute the shot the other u click on or off with ur thumb so if u need to let downu just click on the saftey ...my back up is a Carter to simple thumb release.. -

Gila Units Comparison
If your set on gila 16a or 16b are usually most sought after..6a in the Jemez has some nice bulls and is easier to draw one of the best herds in Nm...51 52 have alot of elk but not the trophy potential.. -
