Anyone have experience with both the the B.5 15x56 and the B.5 18x56? I wonder if the 18’s are too much or sometimes the extra power costs you clarity.
Hello,
A friend and I drew out this year for 3rd season in unit 70 for deer. Neither of us have been out there before but are looking forward to an awesome experience. Looking into things it sounds like there are a lot of mixed views on the unit. Sounds like plenty of other hunters and guys...
Awesome, thank you for the info! From what I could see from the higher mountain stuff, it does look like it could be hard to glass. I was hoping to find some transition areas where I could try and find stuff moving into the lower stuff.
I will be chasing deer this trip. It’s looking like it will be warm and clear during the day out there unless something rolls in between now and then. I’ve explored some of the stuff more towards the Utah border in the winter. I wasn’t sure if many deer would be down in that stuff for the 3rd...
I always have both my bugle tube and cow calls. I usually start with the cow calls and use the bugle as needed. Sometimes they are quick to respond and sometimes they shut down. It depends on the pressure. But that is why I take both, you never know what will work that day.
Sounds like you have a lot of experience in unit 70 in Colorado. I’ve got a 3rd season tag this year. Any tips you might have? I’m not sure if I should be down low or more in the middle ground.
