Nah bugger all, I've met one other BP shooter here. There are a few clubs near the big cities which keeps supplies in demand so are generally always available. Don't know any other hunters though, there isn't any incentive if you don't do it for the love of it.
I started out with an inline, then went to a pedersoli missouri river then a slow twist pedersoli rocky mountain and finally a flintlock. Just a steady progression.
If you ever get interested in flinters I'll be happy to give some advice. They have a learning curve but are so much fun.
We can't hunt the local national park here, as in I'd have guns and car confiscated if I was busted there. But they cull and leave as many rot as they can with thermal gear.
Are you in Vic?
Some of my flinters.

Come sooner rather than later. Sambar populations are good but the govt just announced $19 million to cull deer in Victoria over the next 4 years. We still are required to pay our annual licence all the while though of course.
People say lots of things they don't understand.
Twist rate is far less important than rifling depth. Early Jaeger's from the continent in 18th century were regularly 1:28" to 1:30" but had deep rifling and were designed for round ball.
Modern fast twist guns either shallow rifling are less...
