Kifaru gun bearer with F1 Main Frame
Does anyone know if you can use a kifaru gun bearer (the one for kifaru packs not the universal) with a Eberlestock F1 Main frame pack? The waist belt has the MOLLE webbing on it so I think it might work, but wanted to see if anyone has tried it. Thanks in advance for any help.- Bowhunt09

New to Hunt Talk - MN Guy
I am excited to join the Hunt Talk community! I am primary a whitetail hunter from MN, bow and rifle but prefer the bow. I am planning to go on an rifle elk hunt in the next couple of years to CO. Thanks in advance for all of the great information on this site. -

Why my pack sucks: Kifaru, Stone Glacier, Exo, Seek, Mystery Ranch, Kuiu, etc.
I have the Eberlestock F1 main frame "tall" with two of the vapor series bags. I am 5'11" about 165 lbs. I haven't used the bags yet but I have been using the main frame for workouts. One thing I didn't realize is the adjustability of the shoulder straps was a little less than expected...- Bowhunt09

.308win and monolithic bullets
I have a .308 that I am planning to use for elk hunting. I am very interested in switching to monolithic bullets for both deer and Elk. My initial plan was to shoot 165's. Do you think I should step down to 150's? Also I was looking into the Federal premium trophy copper ammo, does anyone...- Bowhunt09

I really like the idea of finding someone to buy firewood from as long as you are camping by a trail you can drive too. I can imagine it would save a lot of time and energy. -

I am planning to go to Colorado elk hunting either this fall or next...need to make that decision real soon. Can't wait to start to learning process.
