    fun fact, turkeys are the only species (I know of) where you can tell the sex by the shape of their poop. Toms/jakes will have a 'J' shaped poop :).

    I would scout as much as you can. Get to know the terrian, water, food, etc. It also will teach you where the animals are not.

    I will tell you my experience. I drew a bighorn sheep tag in 2018 and was locked out for 5 years. I applied for a desert bighorn sheep tag this year in 2024 and was successful so I feel like I won the lottery.
