Are Hilliberg tents worth the $ ?
I've spent several weeks elk hunting out of a Nallo 3 GT. Very solid and well made tent with a huge vestibule. We've since moved to floorless tents, but Hilleberg's are fine tents!- 8xmidge

Don't forget about Kifaru. They are on the same quality level as MR, but not quite as heavy. They have some good deals going right now on their older GI stuff. If you have compact lightweight gear, I'd recommend the Late Season or the Pointman (mil version if you want pals). I'm...- 8xmidge

How do you stay warm?
If it's really cold, I always have a thermos of coffee, hot chocolate or just hot water (if you're a scent freak) in my pack. It will really help warm your core.
