I’m going to be putting in for an elk tag here and was wondering if anyone has any good deer stories from here? I didn’t know if it was worth getting a deer tag as well. I’ll be there during rifle elk. I talked with F&G and they said it was not good deer habitat but the deer that were there are decent sized. I’ve never elk hunted it but I’m going to roll the dice and try something new. If anyone is willing to provide info, I’ll be more than willing to give the full rundown of what I found after hunting.
