This is a bit random and I know I'm fishing here, but I live in CO Unit 43 and am wondering if there are any other locals here on the forum. I've hunted this unit for the last three years. I have a lot of time in the summer (and much, much less time in the fall when it really counts, admittedly) and plan to scout as hard as I can in late June, July and early August. I'll be putting in for a 1st season rifle tag in the unit again this year. I'm wondering if there are any other locals who plan to be out scouting this summer and want to do a little two-way information share agreement via hunt-talk PM or text.
