Hydration strap suggestions

What do you use to secure hydration tube to shoulder strap? I use the tube clip Platypus offers but it is always coming undone, and gets in the way. I always see Randy Newberg’s wide strap that wraps and secures to strap, but can’t find that one on any site or forums. Any suggestions, or know where to get that one he uses?

I just tuck it through my shoulder strap and it stays fine, have for years.

I use one of those retractable ID badge clips. I worked in healthcare for a while and got about three a year. They clip well to my shoulder strap and I don't have to worry about tucking it anywhere.

Only downside is that they're all made cheaply and tend to break about once a year.

I use a Nite Ize gear tie... you can get them at home depot, lowes, rei, etc. I always take a couple with me hunting they also work great to tie your trekking poles together to make shooting sticks.

Try this I bought this for putting my treking poles together with Velcro. I picked it up at Walmart for a couple bucks. Should work well for what you want to do.
