Welcome from NZ. You've got my attention with the water buffalo and Bantang / scrub bull. Would like to hear more about those hunts please, are they DIY on public land?

Hey Kiwi. DIY private for Banteng hybrid. The buff hunts were also DIY, self sufficient, remote area hunts for 10 or more days and were traditional owner lands, requiring permissions to hunt. There is plenty of country in the north with buff BUT finding one with no fees is another story.
The mount for hybrid came up a treat. The taxidermist used a banteng form and fitted perfect. The meat was taken and distributed amongst the local workers.

Thanks Dave, very cool. The bull mount is awesome, and couldn’t help notice the full body tahr mount too.

Yeh that pic was taken by the taxidermist. It’s a cool place to visit. He does a lot of African and North American stuff also. Apparently my black bear skin and skull are ready for export, just waiting for permits.
