using different bullet weights in the same rifle.

235gr Barnes TSX for my 375 H&H is all it will ever shoot. Stays with the heavier bullets for energy out to 100 yards and if I’m shooting farther than that I’m probably not too concerned with it having enough energy anyways.
 
145 grain Barnes LRX for all big game hunting

35 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip Lead free for everything smaller than javelina.
 
Generally I try to stick to a single bullet. I don’t like wasting time and effort messing with retuning, sighting in, remembering which load it’s sighted in for etc. I experiment from time to time, but I prefer to settle in on something and change firearms when I change purposes.
 
I typically switch guns when a bullet switch is in order. Out of my 7mmdakota > only 180 berger vlds, out of my 300 win mag > 180 grn accubonds, 270 wsm> 140 accubonds, 300 weatherby mag> 200 grain partitions
