In that short time, things have changed....

Bows got faster, easier to draw, hold and $400 more.

Arrows got super skinny and heavier.

Quivers changed direction..

Bow shops are bigger and nicer...

I feel like that old guy shooting camo Hunters on a 44 inch wheelie bow by Jennings. I'm not sure i can go to the indoor league and keep up....

I wouldn't worry too much, I've upgraded twice since my first compound. My first was a Darton Express, which I used for many years, then I upgraded to a Diamond Justice and used that for about 10 years. My last upgrade was a few years ago, a Bowtech RPM360. If what you got still works and kills game animals, you're good.

Heck, I'm still shooting a Bear Super Kodiak from 76 and aluminum arrows. For some reason, it went from, "Dude, you really need to upgrade your gear" to " Check out that cool classic gear". I see a lot of folks shooting old compounds at my archery club and they shoot great. No way I would spend what they want for a new bow these days.
