I'm at the law enforcement academy until the end of February and looking for places to small game or coyote hunt in the Douglas area. Anyone have any ideas?

Over on the North East side of Glendo there is some pretty good hunting around the lake. Lots of coyotes in that area due to the pheasants. You can walk quite a ways as the land surrounding the lake is public.
There are also some places worth calling off highway 20 going East in the lost springs to 3 sisters truck stop area.

It's a little bit further, but we've had success calling in coyotes on the BLM around Alcova off of Hwy 220.

We camped on some BLM east of Alcova this September during our antelope hunt. The place was covered in coyotes and rabbits.

Thanks! But, I'd be just as happy with a little cow elk intel in 7 and 6 from time to time... LOL
