I think the 150 out of a 7mm08 would be great as the muzzle velocity will be around 2,800 so less conducive to blowing up due to high velocity.
Has anybody here tried the ABLR on elk?

My 6.5 was pushing them about 2550 when it impacted my mule deer. It left a small football size hole on the opposite side shoulder. Hard to want to pack out the whole thing when the shoulder was not salvageable at all.
