Taking the family to Creede in June. The girls love to fish! Was wondering if any one had any advise/tips for being successful with the kids. Hope all of yall are having a great holiday/hunting season!

Check out the CO fishing atlas. Most creeks and streams I drift a piece of worm if legal, or a fly to match whatever they are hitting if not. Local fly shop can hook you up with pattern recommendations based on water. For lakes, Green floating chartreuse power bait 5-10 feet off the bottom. I am much more into hunting, but when I do fish its with kids so my skill sets are pretty basic. The fish atlas is great though.

The Rio Grande is awesome but check the flows before you go, there could be a lot of runoff next spring. There are a bunch of reservoirs up the highway west of Creede that I hear can be worth trying out.
