Set up in a soybean field, 30 degrees, 15 MPH East wind, Snowing hard: First bird came in 2 minutes after legal shooting time, the 2nd about 2 minutes later. The difference in size is always amazing

End up about an hour later with a 5 man limit of 25 on the ground.

Nice work. We gave it one last shot this morning.

Found a field full of mallards. Didn't try to get permission, it is difficult here. The river about a half mile away was open so we set up on one of our spots since there was birds around. Notta, nothing!

First time in my hunting life I didn't shoot a duck this year.

Congratulations! You sure seem to be a part of a lot of 'limits' being taken. I'm always a bit jealous of your waterfowling prowess, that little guy is the size of the vast majority of birds around here.

Trust me it isn't so much my "prowess" as it is the places we get to hunt.
