One of my really good friends, Jeff Sposito, has started a gear drive for folks back near his home stomping grounds of Northern California who were affected by the recent wildfires. Jeff grew up near the area and he is doing a great thing to find replacement gear for those hunters who have lost everything. The video below explains the plan to get donated hunting gear to those hunters who lost theirs in this fire. A good use for the stuff that would normally be in my "come and get it out of my hair" event.
