I spotted this buck as he bedded down with a doe and another small buck. So I waited for the wind to pick up a bit before making about a mile long fish hook stalk. I closed to within about 60-80 yards before the small buck jumped up and then this guy stood up with his head and neck sticking out of the weeds. One shot from the 300 mag dropped him in his tracks! A nice tall 4x4 with a beautiful stalk
