I live close to Antelope Island and like to go out there each November and check out the incredible deer. I went out there this morning and spotted a group of does with a buck mixed in. I threw up the binos and knew two things. One, I was looking at a giant, and two, I had seen this same buck two years before, when he was three or four years old. He grew up a little bit.

Also saw this really nice buck out there this morning.


Not a bad way to spend a morning.

Just like in 2016, he has several small droppers. Really cool buck.

I thought the same thing. And this deer is easily one of the most visible on the island. He's hung out right by the road in the same trees for years now. Maybe they thought he was too easy.
