Some of the stuff I hear about on gofundme is a real treat. Important, life changing stuff. That is a nice buck though.

In the old days if you needed some extra cash for something that was not a life necessity, one took an odd job and grabbed an extra shift. My dad used to mix paint in the local hardware store in the evenings after his school teaching job so he could buy hunting or fishing gear. Asking for free money for a non essential. Shake my head. Kind of a reflection on today's society.
