Aches, pains and a public land deer

Thanks for sharing!

I need to practice my solo technique for the gutless method. Or I need to grow a third arm. More practice is probably easier.

Butchering solo is just rough period, would love to see how the pros do it.

This year when doing an elk solo I used paracord to hold each quarter up while I skinned them and then I wrapped them in a piece of tyvek before I made the final cut and dropped them to the ground. It was a little slow as I had to adjust the cord to keep tension. I have heard of hunters in AK using block and tackle on moose... would love to see that in action, especially if you are in a area that doesn't have any trees or rocks to anchor to.

Beautiful portrait of a hunt. Gutless is tricky. Just tried it for the first time. I like it, but need a lot more practice. Congratulations!
