Colorado, Third Season Deer, 2019

I've got my vacation in for 2019 and decided to burn 12 NR Colorado deer points. Being realistic, I probably don't need a unit that is extremely high or rugged. I'm on Gohunt.com, so have a bit of an idea. Send me a pm where you would go as a 52 year old flatlander. Thanks in advance.

What season are you wanting to hunt? And I’m assuming you’re after a mule deer?

Uh, says third season right in the title.

I'd look into stuff around Montrose / Delta / Paonia.

Nothing near Montrose takes much to draw except the early rifle 65 or 4th rifle 65 and I think those are both maybe 5 points?? Maybe a couple more for non-res though. I think you can get 2nd or 3rd in 65 with 0-1 point.

I wouldn’t recommend 71/711 4th season.

There's a lot more units in the area I mentioned than just 65. I'm not going to name codes, that's an exercise for the OP.
