Has anyone hunted Wy elk unit 90? Looking for some information on Grizz densities in the area and what kind of impact the fire put out two weeks ago will affect bear and elk behavior. Mostly only hunted in the east, so this is a whole new thing for me.

I haven't hunted WY but welcome to the forum!
I live in Jackson. Basically around Moose, WY (the mid-point of Grand Teton NP) the grizzly density drops by 75-90% and gets lower the further south you go. I don't know if there is a reason for it to pick backup down in 90, I don't hunt that unit. I believe Jackson is the furthest south of their range. I know of one that was killed about 30 miles south of here this summer, that is it.

There are a few Grizz around. I'm not sure if there is much of a resident population, but I good friend of mine saw one several years ago in the top 1/4 of the unit.
