Usually just before Christmas. That's when I got mine, I used a hand grinder for years until I bought my Cabelas electric. And by all means, get the foot pedal attachment. Makes grinding and packaging a one man job.

I used my great grandmother O’Tooles for 20years. As long as I kept the meat half frozen i worked ok.
After that I sure appreciate my LEM grinder. I messed up and cheaped out on my sausage stuffer buying the 5 lb stuffer instead of a 25lb on. What a pain.
