I've been known to chase a few rainbows. This past weekend was no exception. Super fun time on the river introducing trout to the "jig dance".
I was alone so getting photos was a bit of a chore, but I did manage to get a few.
About as fast as I could cast I was into fish all morning.
Quite a few really dark colored fish.
They just couldn't stay away from this magical marabou jig.

I can't complain much though really, when I was fishing I had it all to myself for 2 1/2 hours before anyone showed up. I'd imagine once deer/elk rifle season is in full swing I'll more or less have it to myself most days.
