What's up guys. I live in south Mississippi, just outside Hattiesburg. Got a camp down in Vancleave off the Pascagoula River. Like to hunt, fish, hike, kayak, etc.

Well, you're hanging out in my backyard! Got some of the National Forest only a couple of miles down the road from me. Pretty much all I hunt now. Hogs seem to be on the increase, good number of deer, squirrel and rabbit if you know where to look, some turkey, and a few quail in certain spots!
My sister moved to Wiggins this year so I try to get her kids involved outside when I can. Looks like a great place for deer. I spent a day scouting a couple weeks ago and took my nephew this past weekend for youth squirrel. I'm not worried about deer hunting it myself since i can't kill a doe and have antler restrictions. Really looking for good squirrel woods until my nephew is ready for deer but there is so much managed pine timber and not a lot of bottoms it's hard to find a bunch. At least what I've seen so far.
