I gave up on Talley's. I'm now using Warne Maximas on everything. Yes they are heavier, but they're bomb proof.

Burris XTR rail and rings.
I've got Warne's Tikka specific 30mm rings on my 7MM, and my dad has the same on his 300WM and 6.5 Creedmoor. The medium is the lowest height you can go with for a 50mm scope (Vortex Viper HS-LR in my case). They do come in a "low", "medium", and "high" though. I've never had an issue, and trust them as much as anything on that rifle to not fail me. Specifically their locking 'peg' of sorts is what sold me. Good luck, and nice rifle selection!

Another vote for Talleys. They're my go-to. Very simple, sturdy design.
