The blackleaf is the most grizzly infested area I've stepped foot in. I spent 3 days in there shed hunting last year and felt like I was in a grizzly bear den. I'm surprised there hasn't been more conflicts in this area.
Seems to be much more bear activity on the lower sections of that part of the state than up high. We didn’t even see a track in the Rocky Mtn peak area from 6500-9000 vertical foot range in over a week last fall. Better odds of seeing a grizzly in downtown choteau than on the Mtn it seems.

Sounds like there was actually two separate griz incidents in Montana this week, one Monday and another Wednesday.

Read the article and scrolled down to the comments where it says: "Disgusting. Too bad the mother bear didn't kill these barbaric hunters." What an idiot.
