Great job! That's a pretty good haul!
Fun !!!! Those boys will remember that weekend for the rest of their lives. I personally guided 7 different youth hunters over the years, in a special youth only hunt on a local National Wildlife Refuge. Difficult to say which one of us was having the most fun !!
I just re-did most of my decoys last night. The rubber on the weights was starting to dry rot. I went to Texas rigs on all of them. I used to worry about not having long enough string so that is why I never did it but when I look back I honestly cannot remember ever hunting water that I cant wade in.
Great job getting kids involve. Waterfowl was one of my first hunting obsessions. I still enjoy the hell out of it but I put more time into killing deer these days. That is what happens when your wife (non hunter) turns out to love deer meat!
