Thanks for the video. I havn't been bird hunting in about 15 years now. I grew up on a shotgun hunting pheasants and geese in east river south dakota until i was about 23 and it takes me back watching you and Peggy. Nothing like watching a great dog work. Reminds me of jumping sloughs for snows and blues. Thanks again.
 
This brings back memories of snipe hunting some UP marshes. They can be a fun shoot. Taste similar to a woodcock. I prefer woodcock however.
 
I like it. What is the meat like? Duckish?

Not really IMO, like woodcock as mentioned above.

I've never had woodcock or snipe. Something I guess I need to fix. There are, ocassionally wcock on our property out back along the river. not many but one or two would give me a taste.
