Fueling up on the obligatory Hostess donettes on the way to the hunt.
Bowhunting for elk thenext 16 days if needed. First in a semi premium Colo unit and the down in the Gila area in NM.
In Colo my NM partner will join me for a day or two and if I have not tagged out he’ll leave me behind to do a little pre-scouting in our New Mexico unit and I will play catch-up.
Going to be a blast and I am probably an overly aggressive elk hunter because I think if the bulls aren’t barking at you really aren’t trying quite hard enough:hump:. Will try to
