Let's see your antelope rifle.

These two are going west in October --

Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 25-06 Rem. (Howa 1500 barreled action) in a H&S Precision Stock with a Nikon Monarch 5 ED 3.5-15x42 SF scope shooting 100 grain TTSX-BT bullets over 54.9 grains H4831SC (3,205 fps).

Winchester 1885 Highwall .270 Win. with a Leupold VX-3i 3.5-10x40 scope shooting 130 grain TTSX-BT bullets over 52.5 grains H4350 (3,065 fps).

One like this, left hand Remington 700 stainless action with Hart barrel in 6.5-06. If I ever get it back from the stocker.

I have a personal aversion towards hunting antelope with a centerfire, so here are my options. I really don't care what means anybody else uses to hunt them, just my personal preference.

I would love to use my Hoyt but I don't have any free time before rifle season.

Nothing special but it gets the job done- tikka T3 25-06, vortex viper 4x16, shooting 117 hornady interlocks

That Winchester is a fine looking set up, always liked rolling block actions since i was kid shooting one of my grandpas old .22s

I really am happy I found this one, was looking for a while but couldn't track down .270. FWIW - this is falling block, but rolling block are cool too.

Yes, that one is. 68 grns of Swiss 1.5fg powder and a 480 grn paper patched bullet does the trick in this case.

This will be my first attempt at Antelope this year. I am planning on taking these two guy, 300 Rum and 6.5 Creed

Thinking I'll give the Mortimer a walk for a doe pronghorn this year. The pre-64 Winchester model 70 has popped one, and I've got a Ruger 77 in 7x57AI that is desperate need of a new stock in the line up as well, but it would be the best to sling a 350 grain round nose bullet at 1800 fps at a speed goat.

Legendary Arms Professional .308 w/ Vortex Razor HD LH 3-15x42 w/ Kenton custom ballistic turret. I just upgraded to this rifle a few months ago so as of right now it hasn't taken an antelope but hopefully that will change this October. However I did get my first animal with it a month or so ago.

EDIT: I was successful with this rifle and took an antelope with it in October of 2018!
