Anyone else having trouble buying the 2018-2019 season super combo package? I can't seem to find it on https://www.txfgsales.com/. The draw hunt this year are saying "adult applicants must possess an Annual Public Hunting Permit valid for the 2018-2019", but can't see anyway to renew for this upcoming season.

You don’t need a license to apply, just have to have one at the time of the hunt.

I was able to apply for the first round, but noticed the new regs on the homepage only after I submitted. It got me worried that they'd reject for e-Postcard and USFS Antlerless Deer.

Anyone have any luck on the 8/15 draws? I didn't get selected for the gator, and waiting on second draw for pronghorn.

You are fine. Just apply away and make sure you have the required licenses before any hunt if you draw.

I got zilch on alligator also. Second draw for pronghorn is equal to a loyalty point basically.

I don't put in for alligator. But put in for all the pronghorn hunts mine says pending 2nd draw also maybe one day.

You fellas hit on the any draws? I landed a few this year (3 antler-less tags and a national refuge deer tag). I decided to pass on the national refuge because I didn't realize when I put in for the draw that it was muzzleloader / slug only. I have never gone after deer with a shotgun or muzzleloader before, and figured I'd be better off letting that one go. Any advice on taking with a slug? How much meat loss are we talking?

Awesome, man. Congrats. I've been trying to get any hunt at Mason Mountain for a couple years now. It looks like an interesting place to hunt, and being from Austin it's got to be closest one. I'm still waiting to see on the guided Gemsbok and Oryx draws.

Let us know how it goes!

Meat loss is not bad. IL OH are shot gun and muzzelloader only. I use a muzzelloader every year. Like hunting with a3030
