The area that Big Fin filmed last year, "Arizona Wilderness Elk Hunt", was hit yesterday with a 1000 year storm and flood according to the NWS at Flagstaff. Six to ten inches fell in less than 3 hours. The county was able to partially treat the larger washes but was prevented by the Army Corps of Engineers from doing much on the Corps self described " Navigable waters of the United States". Most of the treated washes were washed away so to speak. Fortunately there were no injuries of any consequences. The tank that Big Fin described is most likely filled to the brim and overflowing. Nature sure works wonders drought one year, floods the next. GJ
