CA Azone Archery Blacktail Down!

I believe those were the 1st itches before they all jump on you,fleas..... the feeling of something creeping in your hair is the ticks...lol all the time you have your hands bloody the tiny black flies are in your eyes & mouth.....fun times.
I realized years later why I have so few in field pics, too busy trying to get meat out before it spoils.
 
I can deal with the ticks...its fighting with the "meat bees" that is more of a PITA! Good looking buck..I went out last Sunday in A North zone...didnt' see anything and the heat was pretty nasty.
 
Nice blacktail! I can just feel the ticks crawling on me now, I luckily wasn't allergic to poison oak when I lived out there though...
 
Thanks guys. It definitely was a fun way to start the season. I just stripped the velvet off his rack. Going to have it artificially done so it will last!
