How many HMA's can a hunter apply for at one time? Are you allowed to have permission slips for more than one HMA?

Yes, you can have slips for more than one HMA. One a cow elk hunt a few years back, I had a manilla envelope of slips for the unit.

However, in the ranch rules it may limit you to having one and not another. Not sure how common that is, but I know it's the case in some places.

Generally, you can apply for multiple HMA's. Occasionally, in cases where permission slips are limited draw, applying for one will preclude you from applying to others. Those cases will be obvious at the time you apply. It will say in the description "may not hunt [ ] HMA."

ok. Thanks. Looking at multiple HMA's but only one is a limited draw.
