Hello all, I'm in kind of a bind here. I want to come up with a good elk load for my 8x68S using a 200gr Nosler Partition, but I am having a hard time finding a good starting point to do a ladder test. Right now I only have IMR4350 for powder. I called Nosler and Hodgdon and neither have any data using a 200gr bullet, and nosler has no data at all on the cartridge. The closest thing I've found is Hornadys 195gr interlock load data. How safe is it to transpose data for a slightly lighter bullet? Or if anyone has any recommendations as to where to find a starting point I would appreciate it tremendously.
